Before computers and television, kids spent a lot of time outdoors playing games and riding bicycles or wagons. These little Winslow girls, including (left to right) Mildred Shaw, Vivian Armstrong, Marie Drumm and Virginia Shaw, look like they were having fun in the summer of 1912 as they ride in a wagon built by Jim Shaw, owner of the goats that pulled it. The photo was taken in the 500 block of Kinsley Avenue. For more information on Winslow’s rich history visit www.oldtrailsmuseum.org.
