Larry Morgan, 42, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, in Phoenix. Funeral services were held March 3 at the Holbrook Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial followed in the Holbrook Cemetery.
He was born on Nov. 3, 1968, in Keams Canyon to Eugene and Martha (Yellowhair) Morgan.
Larry attended school up to his eighth grade year at Keams Canyon, graduated from Holbrook High School and attended Ricks College in Idaho.
He was an active member of the LDS church, and served a mission in Kansas City, Kan., and finished his mission in Escondido, Calif.
He mostly worked in the food industry as a waiter.
Larry loved to read, write and watch movies. He especially loved his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his daughter, Joshlyn Morgan; his father, Eugene Morgan, six siblings, Lula Morgan, Leroy Morgan, Leonard Morgan, Nora Lowman, Linda Smith and Yvonne Black; his ex-wife, Tonja Powers; and many nieces and nephews.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook was in charge of the arrangements.
