Diana Lynn Sharp, 64, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at her home in Snowflake. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, at the Temple View Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 2885 W. Highway 277 in Snowflake.
Diana was born on Sept. 1, 1946, in Phoenix to the late Jesse Neal and Cecilia Marie (Paz) Skinner.
She was a very loving person who never spoke unkindly of anyone; everyone loved her and thought of her as an angel. She loved nursing and helping others. She enjoyed collecting angels of any kind. Diana volunteered continually in the community, always putting others ahead of herself. Her Christ-like attributes will be missed deeply by everyone who has had the privilege to call her friend.
Survivors include her husband, James Sharp; a son, Ricky (Sabrina) Keeton Sharp; two grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Head and Barbara Benice; a brother, Jesse Locksa; and 17 nieces and nephews.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake is in charge of the arrangements.
