Kenneth Carlson went to meet his Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2011, surrounded by his family. Services will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, at the First Christian Church in Winslow. Graveside services will follow at Desert View Cemetery in Winslow, where he will be laid to rest next to his loving wife, Lorraine.
He honorably served his country with the U.S. Army in the Korean War from 1945 to 1947.
He was a longtime member of the Winslow First Christian Church until his illness would not allow him to leave the house.
Survivors include his sons, Howard, Gary and Michael Carlson; his daughters, Annie and Susie Carlson; his grandchildren, Mary (Tom) Carlson, Kenny (Alisa) Carlson and Alicia (Michael) Lopez; and his great-grandchildren, Elyna and J.P. Lopez, and Payton Carlson.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine.
