The Holbrook High School Drama Club will present “Mother Goose Is Eaten By Werewolves!” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, at the George Gardner Performing Arts Center on the school campus. Here Jalen Jackson, in the role of the knight in shining armor, displays his trusty steed before riding off to save the day as (left to right) Eryn Ruechel, Elizabeth Perry, Gage Alley, Jalen Jackson and Randall Justman look on. This hour long, interactive production opens with the main character, Mother Goose, getting eaten by werewolves! Fortunately there are some helpful “audience members,” a fairy godmother, a misunderstood witch, a skittish prince and a friendly wolf, who pick up the slack. With a little help from the stage manager, actors and the rest of the audience, they manage to successfully tell the story of Sleeping Beauty. Unfortunately each person wants to tell their own side of the story! Bring your family and help the characters as they work through the truth of Sleeping Beauty. Admission is $5 for adults, and $3 for children and students.
