A meeting regarding Holbrook’s Petroglyph Park will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, at the park.
National Park Service landscape architect Joe Winfield will provide a tour of the park to address potential improvements that will make it accessible and informational to visitors. The Ranch Ruins, the remains of a late 1800s ranch home that is also in the area, will be discussed, as well as wildlife preservation and potential bird watching that could be introduced by access to the park.
The tour is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Input on the project is welcome. Participants should wear hiking shoes, appropriate clothing and provide their own water. The meeting will begin at Hidden Cove Golf Course, located west of Holbrook off of Interstate 40 at Exit 283.
