Funeral Services for Annie Rose Williams, 92, was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Winslow, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. Internment followed at Desert View Cemetery.

Annie Rose Nebitsi-Williams went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2011. Annie Rose was born in Hard Rock, Ariz., on June 27, 1918. She was surrounded by family and loved ones as she passed away in Winslow.

Annie Williams was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a big heart. She always had a story to tell and a song to sing to whomever would visit.

Annie was married to Jim in November of 1937. They created their home in Winslow and raised eight children. Throughout her life Annie dedicated herself to helping others and raising her family.

Annie is survived by her brother Harry Tsedah; daughters Elsie Williams of Winslow, Dorothy Naha of Winslow, Seraphine Holder of Flagstaff, and Linda Duran of Winslow; her sons Delford Williams of Topeka, KS, and Clarence Williams of Winslow. Annie is also survived by her two in-laws, Calvin Holder and Lorraine Williams. Annie helped raise 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jim Williams, and her sons, James, Eugene Sr. and Francis Williams, and her granddaughter Beatrice Naha.
