Five Lady Bulldog softball players were named to the 2011 3A Conference All Star Team. That was the most of any team among the 26 players so honored.
State champion Estrella Foothills had four players on the All Star Team including Conference Player of the Year Kasia Smith.
Winslow players on the All Conference Team included senior shortstop Gabby Stacey, freshman pitcher Halle Hayes, senior centerfielder Mireya Ulibarri, junior second baseman Arianna Huerta and freshman right fielder Jaleisa Hayes.
Besides Player of the Year junior pitcher Kasia Smith, Estrella Foothills players on the All Star Team included junior catcher Tatum Reedy, senior second baseman Danielle Silverstein and freshman shortstop Ashley Godfrey.
Safford had three players on the All Star Team, including juniors pitcher Aundria Zuniga-Romero, third baseman Esynia Molina and shortstop Alexis Augirre.
Sedona was represented by juniors shortstop Whitney Cooper and catcher Maria Micheli, and sophomore pitcher Shelby Cordova.
Santa Cruz also had three players on the All Star Team, including seniors Traci Ibarra, a pitcher and catcher, and Tori Gil, a pitcher, catcher and shortstop, and junior shortstop Mica Cruz.
Snowflake players on the elite team included senior pitcher Tori Hill and junior first basemen Natalie Elkins.
Blue Ridge placed juniors shortstop Michelle Lee and pitcher Shawna Newman on the All Star Team.
Payson was represented by senior outfielder Rylee Halenar and sophomore catcher Taylor Peterson.
Senior infielder Courtney Lord from Show Low was on the elite squad.
Florence was represented by junior pitcher Mikayla Austin.
