Antonio “Tony” Mosier, 59, of Tempe, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011. A visitation will be held at 6 o’clock tonight (June 17) followed by a rosary at 7 o’clock at Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Home, located at 1575 E. Florence Blvd. in Casa Grande. Father Juan Carlos Aguirre will celebrate mass for Antonio at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, at St. Helen of The Cross Catholic Church in Eloy. Interment will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson.
He was born Feb. 21, 1952, in Mascota Halisco, Mexico.
Tony graduated from Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nev., in 1971.
He enjoyed traveling, and had lived in Japan and Turkey during his youth.
Tony also enjoyed playing football, softball and coaching youth sports.
Survivors include his parents, William R. and Maria C. Mosier of Casa Grande, formerly of Holbrook; two brothers, Bill Mosier of Las Vegas and David Mosier of Arizona City; two sisters, Anne Wampler of Galena, Mo., and Tracy Sullivan of Honolulu, Hawaii; three nieces; seven nephews; four great-nieces; and three great- nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Teresa, his niece Elizabeth and his nephew Brice.
