Tommy McLaws, a freshman at Holbrook High School, works on electrical wiring for the multi-use building near Park Elementary School, which is under construction by the students of the construction technology program at HHS. When completed, the building will serve as a soccer concession and storage building for the HHS and youth soccer (AYSO) programs, and also will be used by Navajo County. Students have been working on the program for two years and expect to have it completed by the upcoming prep soccer season. The construction project is funded through Secure Rural Schools Funding, a federal education program administered by Navajo County.
