The Silver Creek Stampede, a 5K adventure run, is scheduled on Saturday, July 2, in Taylor.
The run will cover hilly terrain with 11 planned obstacles along the way, including tire high steppers, over and under hurdles, planks under the ravine, an uphill tunnel crawl, a hay bale mountain, two hill climbs, a pitchfork throw, a creek run, a pig pen featuring a little mud and a campfire jump.
The entry fee is $25 for those pre-registering and $30 on race day.
Heats of 50 racers will begin at 7 a.m. Please go to www.silvercreekstampede.com to pre-register, secure your preferred time slot and reserve your proper T-shirt size. Race day entrants will be put in heats as space is available. The website also includes detailed directions to the start point.
