The Joseph City High School celebrated Homecoming last week with a parade held Oct. 12 and the crowning of royalty on Oct. 14. The theme for this year’s parade focused on the town’s country roots, with the floats decorated with bales of straw, a few fiddles, stick horses and lots of cowboy hats.
Members of the Homecoming Court were crowned at halftime of the Joseph City game against Orme. The 2011-12 royalty includes Homecoming King Dallin Baldwin and Queen Annelie Hansen, Senior Class Attendants Joey Loos, Sara Solomon, Jacob DeJesus and Deidra Hansen, Junior Class Attendants Robert Larsen and Morgan Amos, Sophomore Class Attendants Kyler Crosby and Jewel Plower, and Freshmen Class Prince Chance Bray and Princess Talaina Kor-Fisher.
