The Lady Lobos of Snowflake hit a rough patch toward the end of their regular season volleyball schedule, but their state tournament bid is still intact.

Snowflake fell to a powerful Mogollon team Oct. 11 in the final home match of the season, losing 3-1.

The Lady Lobos bounced back with a win over Alchesay the next night at Whitriver, sweeping the Lady Falcons 3-0.

The following day Snowflake made the long trip to Window Rock, where the Lady Lobos fell to the Lady Scouts, winning just one game out of four.

The Lady Lobos headed into the final week of the regular season ranked 11th in power points. After playing at No. 9 Safford on Tuesday, they will finish up their regular season schedule at No. 8 Blue Ridge on Thursday, Oct. 27.

Final power point rankings won’t be known until this weekend, but Snowflake will be headed to the Division III State Tournament scheduled on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, at Tim’s Toyota Center in Prescott.
