Anthony P. Ybarra Sr., 59, passed away November 18, 2011, at his home in Cottonwood surrounded by loved ones.
Tony was born October 23, 1952, in Winslow. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved to hunt and fish. Tony lived life to the fullest, he was always the leader, never the follower.
Tony is survived by his wife Amy, of Cottonwood, his children Lorena, Anthony Jr. (Erica), Mark (Mary), and Jesus (Sandra), all of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Ramey (Veronica) of Chino Valley, Ariz., Bell, Laramie (Preston), and Holly, all of Rimrock, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his father Gilbert G. Ybarra, Sr., grandfather Dennis B. Hernandez, sisters Marie, Linda, Rena, Jeannie, Sally and brothers Lonnie, Gilbert and Gary.
Tony is preceded in death by his mother Lillian, sister Anita (Lulu), grandparents Rafaela Hernandez and Fred and Emma Passmore.
Holy Rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25, at Madre De Dios Catholic Church in Winslow, with Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m., celebrant Father Frank Chacon. Inurnment to follow at Desert View Cemetery.
