Margaret Anne Perkins, “Anne”, was welcomed into Heaven on November 15, 2011, from her home in Perkins Valley. She was born on September 20, 1952, to Jack and Annie Kizzar in Holbrook.

Anne was raised in Clay Springs, Ariz., where she resided until she married the love of her life, Bill Perkins, in January of 1974. Anne and Bill had five children and six grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She had so many others who called her mom and grandma and she loved each one of them. She never met a stranger or spoke a harsh word. Anne touched the lives of many.

Beginning in 1970 Anne became a 4-H leader and continued until the day she passed. She was also a substitute teacher and played the piano for the primary children in church for many years.

Anne will be greatly missed and now so many will have an angel watching over them. The one thing she always wanted was to care for everyone.

Anne leaves behind her husband, Bill Perkins; one son, Joseph Perkins; three daughters, Billie Miller, Charalie Perkins and Jimmie Perkins, all of Perkins Valley; five grandchildren, Shelby Perkins, Victoria Perkins, Kierra Perkins, Chloe Perkins and Waylon Miller; and her mother, Annie Kizzar, of Clay Springs. She was preceded in death by one son, Steven Perkins; father, Jack Kizzar; grandson, Dustin Perkins; two brothers, Michael Kizzar and Johan Kizzar; mother-in-law, Jody Perkins; father-in-law, Cephas Perkins; and many more loved ones that are missed.

Funeral services were held Nov. 19, 2011, at the Holbrook Stake Center, with interment at the Perkins Family Private Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
