A Snowflake man and his wife are in custody following an investigation by Snowflake-Taylor Police Department into allegations of sexual conduct involving a minor.
In September of this year the department began the investigation after it was reported that a 13-year-old girl was being sexually molested by Daniel Oldham, 49. The girl and her family were interviewed and the case went before a grand jury on Nov. 22, resulting in indictments against Oldham and his wife, Kathryn Rider, 64. During the investigation the suspects had no physical visitation with the victim.
Both Oldham and Rider were taken into custody without incident on Nov. 22. They were booked into the Navajo County Jail with Oldham charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child and sexual conduct involving a minor. He is being held on a no-bond warrant. Rider was charged with child abuse.
