The Winslow Bulldogs defeated the Williams Vikings 53-36 in a basketball game played at Williams on Friday. The win was Winslow’s second over the Vikings, and improved their record to 8-5 for the season.
Williams led 7-4 after a low scoring first quarter and was still on top 21-15 at the half. The Winslow defense turned the tide in the third quarter when the Vikings did not score and the Bulldogs built a 29-21 advantage. The fourth quarter was also all Winslow’s as the Bulldogs outscored Williams 24-15 to walk off with the victory.
Michael Goldtooth led all scorers with 13 points for Winslow. Josh Danny was also in double figures with 10 points for the Bulldogs. Alex Carson Parker led the Vikings with nine points.

The Bulldogs were slated to play the Sand Devils on Tuesday at Page in the last game prior to the Christmas holiday.
