The Winslow Arts Council is seeking donations for the annual Art Sweet Arts event scheduled at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, at the Chamber of Commerce Hubbell Building.
This year, artists may donate art pieces for the event and receive half of the sale price for the donation. Artists will receive receipts for their donations for tax purposes, as has always been the case.
Artists who wish to display a piece of their work, but not make a donation, may be allowed to place a display, but there may be some restrictions.
The arts council also will be collecting donations for a silent auction and door prizes.
Persons wishing to donate art, goods or services for door prizes or the silent auction may do so by contacting City Attorney Dale Patton, his secretary Peggy Wilson or any arts council member, including Sarah Smithson, Marci Heavrin, Ann Schmidt, April Neill, Todd Roth, Janet Fish, Sam Conner, Brittany Fischer and Emmett Foster.
