The Window Rock Scouts defeated the Winslow Bulldogs 66-55 in a game played in Winslow on Tuesday. The loss left the Bulldogs with a record of 9-11 for the season and 0-4 since the beginning of the 2012 portion of the season. The Window Rock Scouts improved to an impressive 16-1 for the season.
Winslow started well and held a 17-16 lead after the first quarter of play and was up 36-29 at the intermission. The Scouts took over in the third quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 21-6 to take a 50-42 lead. The fourth quarter was played on nearly even terms as Window Rock cruised to the victory.
Tremayne Nez led all scorers with 21 points for the Bulldogs. Tyler Williams was also in double figures for Winslow with 15 points.
Jaydiamond Taliman led Window Rock with 18 points. The Scouts had two players, Dominique Dale and Ty Wannaeka, with 15 points each.

The Bulldogs were slated to host the Blue Ridge Yellowjackets on Thursday and the Flagstaff Eagles tonight (Jan. 20) before going to Kayenta to play Monument Valley on Saturday and hosting the Holbrook Roadrunners on Tuesday.
