David Z. Kidd, 17, of Los Lunas, N.M., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012. A graveside service was held Jan. 19 at Desert View Cemetery in Winslow.
He was a very smart and loving child, was full of smiles and was always joking around.
David enjoyed music, fishing and baseball, and cherished his dog Kain like a baby.
David was a very proud brother, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His grandpa Daniel was his world, his everything, a man that he could look up to. He was like a big brother to all his little cousins. David loved his family and friends very much. He adored his loving girlfriend Leandra. David loved being babied by family. David and his sister Nikki were inseparable. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving mother, Amanda Montoya; his grandma, Molly Montoya; his sister, Nicole Kidd; three brothers, Matthew Patel, Roshan Patel and Ethan Montoya; two uncles, Thomas Montoya and his wife Jennifer, and John Montoya and his wife Marti; seven loving cousins; a special person he held close to his heart like a second mother, Stephanie Salazar Romero; and many other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Montoya.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
