Gloria Anna Grantham Rawlings, 81, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012. Her funeral service was held Feb. 5 at Owens Livingston Mortuary-White Mountain Chapel in Show Low. The concluding service and interment immediately followed at the Show Low Cemetery.
She was born on Sept. 4, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late George and Ruby (Gates) Grantham.
She was raised in Kingman, and graduated from Kingman High School, Class of 1948.
After attending one year at Arizona State University, she married Jerry Lee Rawlings on Aug. 27, 1950. They moved to Show Low to run the new Sho Lo Theatre.
She was a member of Kingman’s Daughters of the Mohave Pioneers. After moving to the White Mountains, she joined a bridge club and loved to play with the club members. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Rawlings of Lakeside; three children, Linda (Jim) Morrow and Bill (Trudy) Rawlings, both of Lakeside, and Lori (Barry) Platts of Gilbert; 12 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her only brother, George Grantham.
