Donna Mae Peters, 82, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, in Taylor. Funeral services were held Feb. 23 at Taylor Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint. Interment was at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor.
She was born Aug. 10, 1929, to Earl Forbes and Ella Tilley. She moved to Washington as a child.
She married William Frank Peters on Oct. 29, 1948, in Vancouver, Wash., and then they moved to Arizona, where she had lived for the past 50 years. They were married for 56 years before his passing.
Donna liked cooking for others, gardening and canning, growing beautiful flowers, and most of all the love she had for her kids, grandkids and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Kathy) Peters of Mesa and Chuck (Reneé) Peters of Taylor; her daughter, Judy Harrell of Snowflake; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Pearl Howard and Earlean Rapakko of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Peters in 2004; her son, Steven Peters in 1994; and her parents, Earl Forbes and Ella Tilley.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
