Martha Virginia Bell, 83, of Snowflake passed away on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, from natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 2, at the Calvary Community Bible Fellowship, 311 S. First East in Snowflake, with Pastor David Marshall officiating. Private interment will be held at Mike Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.
Virginia was born Feb. 23, 1929, in Winchester Tenn., to Chester and Lillian Adcock Brison. She grew up there, then lived in California for 20 years and had lived in Arizona for the last 43 years.
She was Protestant and attended Calvary Community Bible Fellowship in Snowflake.
For many years she worked in a family business, and greatly enjoyed gardening both flowers and vegetables. She also enjoyed classical music, art museums and reading.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Robert Lewis Bell; two sons, John Bell (wife Billie) and David Bell, both of Snowflake; two daughters, Kathleen Barnhart (husband Rodger) of Snowflake and Janice Perry Butch of Surprise; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
