The Lady Roadrunners picked up their third win of the season on Tuesday, with a come from behind 10-9 home field victory over Mogollon.
Playing in windy conditions, Holbrook gave up four second-inning runs to the Lady Mustangs, but scored twice in the home half of the frame. In the third, the Lady Birds surpassed Mogollon, pushing in five runs to lead 7-4. That lead was brief as the Lady Mustangs tied the game with three in the top of the fourth. Holbrook pulled back in front with single runs in the fourth and fifth innings to lead by one heading to the seventh.
In the top of the seventh, the Lady Mustangs knotted the game at 9-9 with two runs. The Lady Birds won the game by scoring in the bottom of the seventh to improve their season mark to 3-1. All four games have been power point contests.
Kellin Bakurza picked up the win in the circle with four innings of work. Tess Baldonado worked the final three innings to earn the save.
At the plate Holbrook pounded out 16 hits led by Alizia Foster, who went three for five, and Bakurza, who helped her own cause by going three for four.

The Lady Roadrunners were slated to host Blue Ridge on Thursday and close out a four-game home stand with a game against Joseph City at 3:30 p.m. today (March 9).
