Ida “Bea” O’Neal, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012, while at the Life Care Center in Sierra Vista. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, at the Duncan Cemetery.
She was born in Vernon on Jan. 14, 1923.
From Huachuca City and a longtime resident of Holbrook, Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul O’Neal.
Survivors include her son, Robert “Bob” O’Neal of Huachuca City; two grandsons, Kenneth “Kenny” O’Neal and wife Becky of San Antonio, Texas, and Jody O’Neal of Phoenix; five great-granddaughters, Heather O’Neal of Globe, Sarah Macri of Clark Mills, N.Y., Alysha Piperata of Globe, Abigail O’Neal of Navarre, Fla., and Rachel O’Neal of Helotes, Texas; and six great-great-granddaughters, Rylee, Taeler and Braelynn Jackson, Anna and Calli Macri, and Lyne Piperata.
McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel of Safford was in charge of the arrangements.
