The Joseph City Chamber of Commerce inducted two community members into The Joseph City Hall of Fame during the town’s Founders Day celebration last weekend.
David W. Rush was honored for his work as a law enforcement officer with the Department of Public Safety and The Arizona National Guard for the past 26 years.
, who passed away in 1996, was honored for his devotion to improvements at the Joseph City School District, as well as development of the fire department, Chamber of Commerce, and irrigation and water boards. He was also honored for his more than 43 years of service to the youth of the community through the Boy Scouts of America and church youth leadership, and for being a friend and neighbor to all.
The honoree plaque and pictures are on display at Joseph City Fire House along with those of past inductees.
