Kristin Baldwin was the highest medal winner for the Wildcat track teams, coming home to Joseph City from the Division IV State Championships with a second place in the 400 meter run with a time of 1:01 and a third place finish in the 800 meter run, crossing the line in 2:26.
Sara Solomon placed third in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 47.96 and was seventh in the 100 meter hurdles in 17.95.
Kayla Hughes was 13th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:35 and 16th in the triple jump with a distance of 29-05.
Kaitlyn Pugh finished seventh in the shot put with a toss of 29-10 and sixth in the discus with a throw of 94-06. Tori Baird placed 13th in the shot put with a toss of 28-06.
Britney Smith finished eighth in the high jump, clearing 4-08.
On the boys’ side, Daniel Bushman placed fourth in the preliminary race of the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.28 and was seventh in the 300 meter hurdle event in 43.77.
Chance Rush was sixth in the 110 meter hurdle with a time of 16.68. He finished 16th in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.43. Dallin Baldwin placed 13th in the 110 meter hurdle race, finishing in 18.00.
Jacob Fields placed 16th in the long jump with a distance of 18-08.5 and fifth in the triple jump, covering a distance of 40-08.5. Austin Gardner finished 20th in the long jump with a distance of 17-09.
