Teachers retiring from the Snowflake School District were honored at the May 10 governing board meeting. Taylor Elementary School Principal Dennis Evans (center) noted that Linda Stucky (left) taught for 19 years with heartfelt dedicated service, and that Paula Van Gesen (second from left) taught for 26 years, and was always focused and dedicated, striving to do her very best. Highland Primary Principal Alma Yates (second from right) said that Linda Sims (right) taught for more than 20 years and was an outstanding teacher. Snowflake High School Principal Larry Titus (not pictured) said he is losing half of his English teachers with the retirement of Gary Burgess (not pictured), who taught 36 years, and Steven Moles (not pictured) who taught 13 years. Titus noted that their love for kids is tremendous.
