Arno Hall, director of Navajo County Juvenile Services, presents fleece blankets made by Navajo County juvenile probationers to Sandra Lewis, the social service director for Campus of Care in Winslow. The youth made the blankets as part of their community service probation requirements after being remanded to Navajo County Juvenile Services. “Unfortunately, some of our youth find themselves in trouble. Probation helps the youth to be accountable, and helps provide a different direction when faced with doing what is right or what is wrong,” said Diversion Program Coordinator Patricia Hollins. In addition to making the blankets, the youth have also made greeting cards for overseas military personnel as part of their community service work.
