Andrew A. Ballejos was born in St. Johns, Ariz., on Jan. 16, 1943, and entered into rest on May 30, 2012, in Winslow, Ariz. He was last employed as a journeyman meat cutter at Safeway. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and riding his quad.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Ballejos; children Vangie Packer of Lakeside, Cathy (Paul) Duran of Case Grande, Ariz., Corina (Frank) Wilson of Youngtown, Ariz., Tomie (Eloy) Zamora of Winslow, Cathy (Eddie) Cruz of Las Vegas, NV, Pauline Hernandez of Winslow, Mary Ann Aragon of Los Lunas, NM, Sally (Michael) Guzman of Winslow, Patricia (Damon) Allen of Mesa, Ariz., Angelo (Candace) Aragon of Las Vegas, NV, David (Jeanette) Aragon of Las Vegas, NV, and Janice (Brad) Childers of Winslow; sisters Helen (Alistar) Ort of Hemet, Calif., and Diane (Randy) Sullivan of Linden, Ariz.; brothers Paul (Mary Ann) Ballejos, Raymond (Lois) Ballejos of Anthem, Ariz., and Steven Ballejos; 54 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roman amd Chris Ballejos; daughter Orlidia Sandoval; grandson Alfonso A. Gomez; and sister Nancy Ballejos Rayes.
Services were held May 31 and June 1, with interment at Desert View Cemetery, celebrant Father Frank Chacon. Arrangements were handled by Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow.
