Orville Clair Dalton Jr., 54, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at his home in Prescott. Funeral services were held April 21 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Woodruff. Burial followed in the Woodruff Cemetery.
Clair was born on March 13, 1958.
He worked in the adult program at the Rainbow Foundation in Holbrook, as well as at the First Step Workshop in Holbrook. He was a representative for Special Olympics for northern Arizona. He met with people from Washington, D.C., and told them about handicapped people.
He moved to Prescott in 2004, where he lived for the remainder of his life. He worked at Yavapai Exceptional Industries.
He was loved by all around him, and will be greatly missed by them.
Survivors include three sisters, Carla Jo Dalton of Woodruff, Brenda Sue Dalton of Flagstaff and Patricia Ann Pewe of Casa Grande; a brother, Ronald Perry Dalton of Oregon; his mother, Teddy Lou Dalton of Woodruff; and a niece, Sarah N. Coronado of Casa Grande.
