Alice M. Gallegos

Alice M. Gallegos, 72, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in Show Low. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 o’clock this morning (July 11) at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 212 E. Arizona in Holbrook, with a viewing and rosary beginning at 9 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery.

She was born on June 14, 1940, in Holbrook to Jesus L. Montano and Augustina Tafoya Montano.

Alice was a woman who loved to spend time at the casino, the beauty shop and knocking down pins at the bowling alley. She was a very good dancer and enjoyed dancing with her husband. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley; four children, Steven (Christopher), Troy, Kimberly (Tami) and Sharlene (John) Guttery; a sister, Mary Gabaldon; five grandchildren, Noreen, Hailey, Willow, Griffin and Erica; one great-grandchild, Ivy; many nieces and nephews; and all of the residents of Holbrook.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Aggie; and two brothers, Johnny and Armando.

Owens Livingston Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
