Darwin Bennett Saul, 72, of Snowflake passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Plaza Healthcare in Scottsdale after a lengthy illness. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, at the Shumway Cemetery.
He was born in Snowflake on June 3, 1940, to Raleigh and Nila Saul.
Darwin graduated from the School for the Deaf and Blind in Tucson and resided in California for a number of years before coming back to Snowflake in the early 1990s.
He will be missed by both family and friends.
Survivors include three sisters, Neona Sue Rose, Karla Jamison and Thea Hudson; and one brother, John William Saul.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George Saul.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
