Petrified Forest National Park’s summer Cultural Demonstrator program offers a doubleheader on Saturday, July 14, when the combined talents of the Warhorse International dance group and the Goodluck silversmiths will be displayed at the Painted Desert Inn. From 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the husband and wife team of Teddy and Rebekah Goodluck will demonstrate traditional jewelry and silversmithing techniques, including their hallmark shadow-box style mounts. As always, many completed pieces will be available, in addition to their work in-progress. Nathan Bahe`s Warhorse International will offer three performances, at 10 a.m., 12 noon and 2 p.m., featuring traditional Navajo dancing. Regular fees and passes apply for admission to the park, but the cultural demonstrator event is free.
