Margarita “Margie” Barreras Guerrero, 65, our loved one, passed on to be with our heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix. Holy Rosary was recited at 7 o’clock on Tues-day evening, Aug. 7, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winslow. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 o’clock this morning (Aug. 8) at the church, with Father Frank Chacon officiating. Interment will follow at Desert View Cemetery in Winslow.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Adam Guerrero; four sons, Raymond Archibeque of Grapeland, Texas, and Rudolpho Guerrero, Eulalio Guerrero and Andres Guerrero, all of Winslow; two daughters, Yolanda (Scott) Owens of Flagstaff and Linda Guerrero of Winslow; four sisters, Cruzie (Ronnie) Ortero of Las Vegas, Nev., Susie (Domingo) Alonzo of Flagstaff, Virginia (Andrew) Johns of Tucson and Deloris (Russel) of Phoe-nix; 15 grandkids; and 17 great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Nellie Barreras; and her brother, Charles Barreras.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
