Barton Z “Bart” Touchstone, 48, of Scottsdale passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19, at Valley View Baptist Church in Snowflake. In addi-tion, a service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Scottsdale Bible Chapel, located at 7901 E. Shea Blvd.
He was born on March 8, 1964, in Pensacola, Fla., grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and raised his family in the Snowflake and Pinetop area. He graduated from Tom C. Clark High School.
Bart was a very skilled electrician and project manager, but his passions outside of work was spending time with his family, golfing and snow skiing.
Survivors include his wife, Shawn Touchstone; three boys, Forrest Touchstone (19), Garrison Touchstone (16) and Chandler Touchstone (13); his stepson, Ryan Morrison (19); his stepdaughter, Mallory Morrison (19); his mother, Gerry Shaw Maloney; his father, Ottis (Sandy) Touchstone; two brothers, Bryan Touchstone and Bruce Touchstone; two stepsiblings, Shay (David) McGehee and Shelly (Steven) Duncan; the mother of his three children, Anne Lang; and numerous aunts and uncles. Bart was especially close with his Uncle Ray Shaw of Boerne, Texas.
