The Lady Lobos won their only home volleyball match of the week, then split a pair of road matches, play-ing all three in successive days.
Snowflake’s week started last Tuesday with a home court win over Holbrook in four games. After drop-ping the first game 25-23 against a struggling Lady Roadrunner squad, the Lady Lobos bounced back to win the following three games, 25-14, 25-20 and 25-18.
On Wednesday Snowflake traveled to Lakeside to face rival Blue Ridge. The Lady Yellowjackets always have a solid volleyball squad and this year is no exception. After losing the first game 25-18, Snowflake rallied to win game two 28-26. The Lady Jackets then shut them down, winning game three 25-17 and game four 25-20.
Back on the road on Thursday, the Lady Lobos easily dispatched an overmatched Winslow team, winning in three games. Snowflake held the Lady Bulldogs under 20 points in each game, winning the match 25-17, 25-14 and 25-19.
After hosting a good Payson team tonight (Sept. 19), Snowflake will host a tournament on Friday and Satur-day, Sept. 21 and 22.
