Are you wondering about the nine propositions on the Arizona ballot this fall? Do you have a question on one of the measures dealing with the “Top-Two” primary initiative, a permanent sales tax increase or state sovereignty? The Secretary of State’s Office is holding two 2012 General Election Ballot Town Hall meetings in Navajo County to help answer your questions. The first is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Hopi Junior/Senior High School, Highway 264, Keams Canyon, and the second at 6:30 that night at the Show Low City Council Chambers, 181 N. Ninth St.
The events are free-of-charge and open to the public as an opportunity for voters to learn about the ballot propositions and pose questions to staff members provided by the Secretary of State’s office.
Audience members also will hear from supporters and opponents of the ballot measures, with both sides given the opportunity to make brief statements and take questions from the crowd.
