The Holbrook Elks Soccer Kick was held on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Hunt Park soccer field.
Winners in the boy’s division, in order of finish included: under 7, Isaac Martinez, Daniel Chandler and Ty Larson; 8 and 9, Jonathan Bickett and Zander Phaturos; 10 and 11, Kobi Koerperich, Andres Aguilera, Jadin Baloo, Danny Ashcraft, Jason Brown and Griffin Lamb; 12 and 13, James Saxton and Joey Brown.
Winners in the girl’s division included: under 7, Emily Bennett and Cara Bennett; 8 and 9, Ashley Spears, Talyssa Larson and Elena Martinez; 10 and 11, Leana Chandler; and 12 and 13, Farrah Ashcraft, Shylee Chan-dler and Kearstin Saxton.
None of the winners will be able to attend the District Kick in Jerome because it will be held on Oct. 20, the same day as Holbrook’s soccer playoff tournament. The Elks thank them for their participation, and wish them good luck on their upcoming tournament.
The kids and their parents were treated to hot dogs, as well as miscellaneous prizes, following their partici-pation.
The Elks also offered their thanks to all who participated, and especially to their helpers who registered the kids, kept score, retrieved balls, and cooked the hot dogs, including Phil Cobb, Paul Ortega, Floyd Russell, John Lamb, Cindy Allen, Bob Smith, Nadine Bickett, James Wilkinson, T.J. Aguilera, Andres Aguilera, Jona-than Bickett, and Joshua Johnson.
