The Friends of Winslow Public Library will host their 17th annual Book Sale Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 18-20, at the Elks Auditorium at Third and Berry in Winslow. Thousands of donated books, videos and music items will be on sale at bargain prices, including children’s items at five for a dollar. A members’ Preview Sale is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, and anyone is invited to take out a membership at the door. The sale is open to all from 12 to 7 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. A special price will be in effect on Saturday: fill a box for $3.
