Beloved husband, father, and grandfather Ralph Lee Anderson passed away at his home in Heber/Overgaard on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012. A graveside service was held Oct. 13 at the Heber Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Louise Anderson. They would have been married 50 years this Oct. 27.
Ralph was born and raised in Marion, Va., and moved to Scottsdale in 1962.
He was the proud father of three children, Destry Anderson, Lance (Lynn) Anderson and Rebecca Haneline, all of Heber. He had eight grandchildren, four granddaughters, Kristi Regeczi, Ashley Faust, Aubrey Anderson and Shelby Anderson and four grandsons, Cody Anderson, Ethan Anderson, Jacob Anderson and Jeremiah Haneline; and one great-granddaughter, Carley Jorgenson.
Ralph was the owner of Anderson’s Anasazi Drywall in Heber/Overgaard about 20 years ago.
He loved the outdoors, both the deserts and the beautiful mountains we live in. He loved to fish, hunt and camp, and really enjoyed a good football game.
Ralph was kind to everyone he met, and would help anyone who might be in need.
