Otila “Tillie” Dominguez, 70, went home to her Savior on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook.
She was born June 28, 1942, to Sabino Lozano Sr. and Josephine Lopez Lozano in Morenci. She lived in Clifton until she was approximately 16 years old and then moved to Holbrook.
Tillie worked for Shuster’s mercantile for several years as a bookkeeper. She met and married Alfred Dominguez and they had a son, Dion. Tillie became a stay at home mom. In her later years she would help care for her mother Josephine.
Most will remember Tillie as a wanderer and sometimes troubled soul, but she had a love for music, a simplistic lifestyle, a genuine heart for those in her life and a delightful sense of humor.
Survivors include her son, Dion; her sister, Molly (Jake) Salazar; her brother, Sabino (Sharon) Lozano; nephews, nieces, as well as their children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Sabino, her mother Josephine and her beloved husband Alfred.
