The Winslow High School volleyball team lost its last four matches to Flagstaff, Round Valley, Holbrook and Flagstaff again. The first three matches were played at Winslow and the last was at Flagstaff. The results ended the regular season for the Lady Bulldogs.
On Oct. 16 at Winslow the Flagstaff Lady Eagles defeated Winslow three games to none by scores of 25-17, 25-10 and 25-14.
On Oct. 17, the Round Valley Lady Elks edged the Lady Bulldogs three games to two at Winslow. Round Valley won the first two games 25-14 and 25-15, but the Lady Bulldogs came back to win the next two games 26-24 and 25-21 to force a tie breaking third game which Round Valley won 15-4.
On Thursday, Oct. 18, the Holbrook Lady Roadrunners defeated the Lady Bulldogs three games to none at Win-slow. The visitors won the first game 25-15, the second a close 25-21 and the third, 25-19.
In the final match of the regular season, the Lady Bulldogs journeyed to Flagstaff and lost to the Lady Eagles three games to none by scores of 25-12, 25-10 and 25-19.
That completed the regular season and there has not yet been any information concerning any playoffs scheduled.
