Jerramie Jacob “Jake” Turner, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at his home in Cromwell, Ind. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Owens Livingston Mortuary-Heritage Chapel, 84 E. 19th South in Snowflake. The graveside service and interment will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, at the Middle Verde Cemetery in Camp Verde.
Jake was born on May 15, 1974, to Delbert James “Jim” Turner and the late Sandra Kaye (Miller) Turner in West Covina, Calif. 

Due to a disability, Jake was unable to work throughout his life, but he always spent his time in productive and positive ways. He was an avid reader, and loved to read a good book and learn about new things. He also was blessed with a beautiful singing voice, and thoroughly enjoyed singing karaoke with family and friends whenever the opportunity presented itself.
Jake had a special gift when it came to children. He was an exceptional friend to them and especially en-joyed caring for young ones. He was greatly loved by all of his nieces and nephews, and they will miss him tremendously.
He was also blessed with an incredible sense of humor, and was always quick to crack a joke to break any tension in the air and make everyone feel immediately at ease and comfortable.

Jake loved to travel around the country and within the states that he lived. He was a very social individual. He simply loved the company of others and could frequently be found engaged in pleasant conversation with them. He loved people and they loved him.
In recent years, Jake settled down with his girlfriend, Michelle Lucas, who will miss his companionship and friendship very much.

In addition to his girlfriend, Michelle, he is survived by his father and stepmother, Jim and Kay Turner; two brothers, James Corey and Zachary; three sisters, Dani Elizabeth, Miranda and Michelle; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Kaye (Miller) Turner.
