Thomas Joseph Cordova, 76, passed away on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in Winslow. Holy Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. today (Nov. 7), followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Madre De Dios Catholic Church in Winslow, with Father Frank Chacon as celebrant. Interment will follow at Desert View Cemetery.
Thomas was born in Winslow on Nov. 17, 1935. He worked in construction/drywall inside and out in Colo-rado, Nevada and Arizona, and was a self-employed journeyman. He was also in the Marines. He liked lottery tickets and casinos, and loved his wife and family.
Survivors include his wife, Lindy; three sons, “Tommy Boy” Cordova, Willie Cordova and Billy Cordova; three daughters, Patricia Cordova, Laura Cordova and Tammy Cordova; a brother, Richard Cordova; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doroteo and Mary Cordova; two brothers Frankie and Eddie; and a sister, Lita Lopez.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
