Marcia Elizabeth “Marty” Naranjo, 63, entered into rest peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Little Colorado Medical Center in Winslow. Holy Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, at St. Jo-seph’s Catholic Church in Winslow, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with Father Frank Cha-con as celebrant.
She was born on Feb. 11, 1949, to Alex and Helen Naranjo in Safford.
Marty attended and graduated from Safford High School.
She had many close friends and she never knew a stranger. Her family extended out to friends and people in the community.
Marty was a very loving and giving person, and always saw the best in everyone. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be dearly missed by all who had the wonderful opportunity to know her.
Survivors include her daughter, Veronica Bailon; one grandson, Gabriel Bailon; two sisters; five brothers; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Carlos Perez; her parents Alex and Helen Naranjo; and two brothers.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
