Bennie Frank Mason, 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at his home in Taylor.
He was born on May 5, 1940, in Carthage, Miss.
Bennie had a heart of gold and would help anyone at any time.
He was an electrician for 518 in Globe for many years. He was also an escort pilot and enjoyed his travels before he got sick. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Emma Rose Mason of Taylor; five children, Ben Mason Jr. of Globe, Elizabeth Willard of Apache Junction, Anita Mason of Taylor, Anna (Hank) Stodghill of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Adam (Lindy) Mason of Summerset, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, Matthew Ruthford and family, Cody (Dominique) Mason and family, Justin Willard, Wyatt Stodghill, and Rebecca, Chad, Faith, Tyler, Alexis, Brianna, Clint, Weston and Stella Mason; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Mason of Taylor. 

At Bennie’s request, no services are planned.
Owens Livingston Mortuary-Heritage Chapel of Snowflake was in charge of the arrangements.
