Jerry E. Gohl, 61, of Joseph City passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. A memorial service was held Nov. 23 at the First Baptist Church in Holbrook.
Jerry was born Nov. 25, 1950, in Cortland, N.Y.
He moved from North Carolina to Arizona in May 2012.
Jerry worked in construction for many years, and later was a self-employed carpenter.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cincinnatus, N.Y., a man of strong Christian values and deeply devoted to the Lord.
Jerry battled a long illness, and loved spending time with his family up until his passing.
Survivors include his parents, Raymond and Louise Gohl of Joseph City; a sister, Vicky (Ivy) Butler of Gastonia, N.C.; three brothers, Raymond of Texas Valley, N.Y., John (Janis) of Flagstaff and Brian (Daisy) Gohl of Holbrook; a nephew, Robert Catlin of North Carolina; and two nieces, Kelly Grant of North Carolina and Nichole Gohl of Holbrook.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
