The Wildcats picked up another impressive performance from Captain Jacob Fields and his teammates in a 56-46 home court win over Ash Fork on Friday. This was the second time in just over a week that Joseph City handed Ash Fork a loss.
Fields dropped in 34 points on 14 for 31 shooting from the field and six of seven successful charity tosses. He also added eight rebounds and three steals. Wyatt Johnson finished with 10 points. TJ Hendricks added 4, as did Austin Bushman along with six rebounds. On the night the Wildcats had 10 steals and only 14 turnovers.
The Wildcats headed into this week’s action with an overall record of 5-4. After hosting a very good Valley team and its star guard Corey Quigley on Tuesday, Joseph City will play at Northland Prep on Saturday, Dec. 15, in Flagstaff, then host St. Michael on Tuesday, Dec. 18.
