Stuart A. Hensley was sworn in by Judge Fred Peterson Dec. 11 as the newest member of the Snowflake Town Council, making it a full council once again.
“We look forward to working with him,” said Mayor Kelly Willis. “We know he will do all he can to help us in the town and for the citizens.”
In other business, Resolution No. 12-109, adopting policy and procedures for purchasing from the mayor and council members, was unanimously approved.
Because of the adoption of this resolution, the council was required to go to bid for technology services.
Finance Director Brian Richards explained that currently Hensley’s company has the contract for technology services and because the resolution was adopted, it would require going to bid for those services.
The council unanimously approved going to bid for technology services.
